Excerpts from Letters sent to Dr. Blakeley after Treatment Terminated
Dear Linda:
You know how grateful I am for all your help and patience over the last few years. I have come so far and I owe it all to you!

Dear Linda:
I want to thank you for checking on me and making yourself available to others that may need your help after the unthinkable tragedy on September 11,2001. I have spoken to some flight attendants and they too were warmed by your offer. Because you helped me deal with my personal tragedy, I am that much stronger and clearer in getting through this national tragedy. Thank you Linda.

Dear Linda,
Its 2 days after my 50th birthday and Im in Tuscany. Without your help and support, even if I had managed this trip anyway, I would not have been able to take in all these good feelings and would probably not have recognized or been able to acknowledge and accept them. Like I said before, I knew you were good but not this good!!!
Dear Linda,
(From a journal entry) I just got back from a therapy session with Linda Blakeley. It has given me hope, strength, peace, reassurance. I shared, I listened, I learned. Wow. This lady is the key for me. She has suffered with an eating disorder herself and I felt like family from the moment I shook her hand. For a first time, it was awesome.
Dear Linda,
Thank you very much for your assistance with my daughter and issues around my divorce from my ex-wife. You were able to pull my ex-wife from her depression and stand on her two feet. I believe that for people who need a major emotional tune-up your work is like a miracle.
Dear Linda,
I was a successful production supervisor in a division of a national corporation when I started to have attacks on my way to work. My heart would start racing, I would get light headed and feel as though I couldnt breathe. At first I tried to ignore these episodes, then they got progressively worse. I saw a doctor about it, but all he could do was prescribe drugs. I couldnt drive and I felt frightened to leave my house. I needed help and through a friend I found Linda Blakeley.
From the fist time I met with Linda, I felt very comfortable talking to her. With her deep compassion and insight she helped me get back on my feet again. She guided me through my attacks, drug addiction, work addiction and fears of anger and confrontation by helping me discover the reasons that I chose to live the way that I was living. Her support and understanding helped me to re-experience my abused childhood and to discover that as a child, I learned ways to survive in an insane situation.
Our work together has affected every aspect of my life. Not only am I back to work but I find that by learning new ways to cope with my job and the people around me I am more affective in 40 hours now than I was before working 80 hours a week. I have been promoted to management status, travel across the country and instead of being afraid of conflict, I am considered very successful at facing and resolving conflict. I am a happier person after working with Linda. I have recommended her to friends and will continue to recommend her services unconditionally.
